MES - Start Production Activity slow when entering Job# / Asm# /

We had this problem. We changed value #Blocks in DB buffer, we check checkbox " Memory cache " for that form and works better but not perfect. We use bar code scanners to fill that fields (job number, assm, op number) and we had to change some parameters for scanner and now data shows up with delay in text boxes so system have a time to retrive data.

Does anyone else experience slowness when in MES and you launch Start Production Activity (SPA)?

Even in BASE MODE, the first time I launch SPA and enter a Job#, it takes 10-15 seconds to 'Retrieve data...'. The next time I launch SPA...the 'Retrieving data...' is cut in half.

If you have experienced this and was able to find a fix...can you please share?
