Did you try using the condition of the specified field of the "added row" (instead of a field change) if you are adding a record? We use a Method directive on DMRProcessing CustomUpdate, but the condition logic is built into custom source code because we need to write a value to a different table.

I was trying to use the method directive with condition "The specified field has been changed from any to any" but it doesn't seem to work. My setting was in a pre-processing condition "the ttDMRCorAct.ActionID has been changed from any to any". When the field value changes, no actions were taken. Is there any settings required for this method directive to work?

Hmm I don't know enough about DMR to know if there is data available then. But if its not firing then I'd say no? Try removing the condition and just popping up a Message Box and see if that fires. If it does then your condition is not working. If it doesn't the method may not be firing at all.
