If I delete my extended UD table in the maintenance program in Epicor and run schema update, it deletes the table in the database?

We’ve seen this error when migrating Extended UD tables to Epicor 10.
From the some initial testing we’ve done it seems to fail on fields with names larger than 20 characters.
I would suggest:
· Export your _UD tables to Excel.
· Delete your Extended UD fields.
· Rerun the UD schema update in 9.05.
· Migrate your data to E10.
· Add your Extended UD fields in E10.
· Finally, reimport your data from the Excel export.

I tried just running the step that errors but same errors.
In the migration guide it says not to skip a step if there is an error. When I look in SQL the two UD tables (Project_UD and ProdCal_UD) are not created.

Try re-running just that step. Does it error still? I was able to re-run operations when they had an error.
Uncheck the box that stops the migration on error (if you didn’t already)

After you right click on the database in the Epicor Administration Console and click Migrate Epicor Database.

What “part†of the conversion are you in? The conversion workbench or some other step.

Subject: [Vantage] Migration to E10
Hi all,
I started doing a migration to E10 from 702a and have run into an issue I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced.
I get two errors on Task ID 600 UDFieldsMigration:
Error UDFieldsMigration Project Exception thrown while processing table Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Error UDFieldsMigration ProdCal Exception thrown while processing table Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
It just so happens these are the two tables I have extended using Extended UD Table Maintenance.
Coincidence?
