Hi Randy,
I have. I'm on 6.1 but have uploaded it to the MN site for a few years.
I had to edit the file and add the name in for the State record, but
it's easy to do. Just edit your file from a command prompt (dos) so you
can see the cursor position and at position 396 enter the name of the
contact person and at position 423 enter the phone number (on line 1).
Make sure you hit the "insert" key so it doesn't add spaces to the field
length.

That should work for you.
Good luck!

V8.03X

Minnesota now requires that we file our W2's electronically. We created
the Federal file from vantage and uploaded it to the MN test site. The
file was rejected because it was missing a contact name in line 1.

I believe this is a company contact name rather than the name of the
first W2 record.

Is there a setting in Vantage to include this information? Has anybody
else successfully uploaded a MN W2 file?

Thanks in advance.
