This is the same question as posted in the msg below, from 2012, but there was no answer there and I could not update it.

Cannot ship multiple boxes using Miscellaneous Shipment Entry

In Customer Shipment Entry there is a tab called Tracking Details in which you can check the Phantom Pack box and create multiple cases. No such tab exists in Miscellaneous Shipment Entry. We are currently shipping multiple packages (not on Sales Orders) outside of the system using UPS Worldship and FedEx Ship Manager. How are other users shipping multiple packages that are not on Sales Orders (ie. return to Vendor items, Demo units). We would like to use the system for these shipments…

Customer Shipment entry has a Phantom Details tab under Manifest Info, but Miscellaneous Shipment entry has no such tab.

How do we ship multiple boxes using a Misc. Shipment?

The system currently does not have the ability to create Phantom Packs for anything other than Customer Shipments. We have created Problem PRB0149356 to work on adding this functionality to the system but it has not been added at this time.

Workaround in Epicor Manifest
You can use the following method if you have Epicor Manifest.

Freight the shipment in Epicor… add all the parts you want.
Then go into Manifest, find the shipment
Un-ship it in Manifest, add the total number of boxes you want
Ship it in Manifest and copy the master tracking number and paste it over the tracking number in Epicor for the shipment you originally did.
