Other than the Epicor Administration Console, is there any other way to see how licenses are being consumed? We are trying to determine how many licenses we need to purchase.

Thanks,

-Ted
If you are on SQL, look at the LicUser table.

It includes both active & inactive sessions, this where clause will find only the active ones: WHERE DATEDIFF(SS, DATEADD(SS, LastTime, LastDate), GETDATE()) < [TimeOut]

Good Day Vic:

I do not see LicUser in list of files in the Data-Dictionary-Viewer-
I am not surprised.

Where is it located? Server? Directory?

Do you think I could Import it into ACCESS?

Querying/viewing with Access shouldn't be a problem. In SQuirreL I just did

Good Day:

Suddenly, I am remembering that Country-Western song about the
SQuirreL that got loose in the meeting house during services.

It's part of the Epicor db. Not listed in the data dictionary.

Querying/viewing with Access shouldn't be a problem. In SQuirreL I just
did
a "SELECT * FROM PUB.LICUSER" and it works fine.

I do not see LicUser in list of files in the Data-Dictionary-Viewer-

Where is it located? Server? Directory?

Do you think I could Import it into ACCESS?

If you are on SQL, look at the LicUser table.

It includes both active & inactive sessions, this where clause will find
only the active ones: WHERE DATEDIFF(SS, DATEADD(SS, LastTime,
LastDate),
GETDATE()) < [TimeOut]

Ted, I like it because it feels like the MS SQL interface to me. Also the
results are very easily exported or copy-n-paste into Excel with headers.
