Subject: [Vantage] More annoying 4gl questions
Howdy, al!
With much help from Lonnie, I've been able to get Progress to concat 3
records into a single line, replace certain Crystal-unfriendly text, and
append it to an existing file, but ran into a new snag: I need a way for
the user to input a filename, and append that input into the output path.
I've found the "Prompt-For" statement, and used "Assign" to get the input
into a variable, but can't get the variable into the "output to" statement.
Also, is there any other way to display a (smaller) user input box? My
experiments with frames and buttons has Progress sticking its tongue out at
me.
Thanx,
Alan
