Most unbroken version of 8.03

We've been on 407c since June 2009 - and probably will stay on it until we upgrade to Epicor 9 scheduled for later this year.

One major issue with Labor Entry was resolved with a EmpBasic.r patch. There are some other minor issues that we've worked around - and there may be others that don't affect our business process but may affect yours.

Good luck!
Laraine

We haven't gone live with it yet, but from my testing 8.03.409A appears to be pretty good. I only found one new minor problem so far, and it has fixed a lot of the previous bugs. I would like to know what others have found with 8.03.409A.

very stable for us thus far.

We moved from 406a to 409a and immediately found two issues requiring
SCRs.

1. Cash receipts does not show credit memos

2. Credit Memos will not allow a negative value for a
miscellaneous charge (case of restocking fee).

Other things of note

1. Supplier price management window does not automatically load
parts when a supplier is loaded. - not that big of a deal and speeds up
processing when a supplier has thousands of parts.

2. For some reason the View Costs functionality in method tracker
does not show sublevels. It does work in the Engineering workbench.

I am not holding my breath thinking this is it. It seems whatever
problems we were looking to get fixed during the patch upgrades is not
worth the expense for the things that get broken. It also seems a
single company can never do a thorough enough job of testing. All in all
very frustrating as usual.
