Can you move between plants without having to close a window in one plant to switch to the other?
For example if I am looking at a job in one plant and need to look at a SO in the other…I don’t want to loose my job window but right now I have to close it to change plants.
User Security > Multiple Sessions.
How would multiple sessions allow this? I have multiple sessions and I can’t change plants if I have something open without closing it.
Launch Epicor a second time. That session will be able to change to the other plant without closing your job screen.

Ok, no ideal. That means they will use another license. We are already restricting people not to have multiple sessions because of that.
When I enable Multi Session, the user can switch between plants without having to close the screens. In the Admin Console. the Enterprise Processing licensing kicks off and it does not take up another license.
We used to restrict MultiSessions as well. Then I slowly started allowing this and found that it was not an issue. It becomes an issue if you have network issues, and users dropping off.
Ok, so don’t launch another session. Use enterprise. I just did a test on my dev system with two pcs and one opening screens in two plants.
