Moving Email

Sandra,
What you need to do is to do a search for *.PST this is the file that
holds all of Outlooks, tasks, mail, calander, etc etc. What I've done is
set up a secure directory for each user on the server. Then I've mapped the
outlook path to that *.pst file. This way if a system crashes all of a
user's outlook stuff is intact.

I have just installed three W2000 pc's with MS Outlook. The PC's that
their
emails were on are W98 Outlook Express. I have gotten the address books
exported from the W98's and imprted into the W2000's but I can't get the
saved email that is not in the inbox to come over. I tried export but
that
didn't work -- it seems like the emails are on the server in the mailbox
but
they will not download to the pc. Do you have to create a folder of the
same name on the pc or what?

Any and all help will be appreciated!!!

Sandra,
Try moving the W98 OE email files and put them into the folder where Outlook on the W2000 PC stores email.
