Hi
We are running a pilot version of e10 prior to going live early next year.
When we create an MPS entry and run MRP it gives us the wanted unfirm job howver the job has a due date one day earlier than the MPS entry.
Has anybody any idea if there is some flag causing this.
In and earlier test version we ere running the dates matched perfectly and that is what we are trying to replicate.
Many thanks.
Iain
you may need to check the following:
- Receive time at part level.
- Move Hours at Resource/Resource Group.
Hi Al
Thanks for coming back to me. I’ve tried these and all are set at zero.
have you changed any thing on the basic setting, company configuration, calendar, parts routing, sub./con. processor calender?
I can’t see anything thats changed.
then i suggest to take one part as a case study in Live then in Pilot and run a filtered MRP, tick multi level pegging process, then check the Time Phase and the Multi level Pegging screen and compare its supply-demand for both databases
in your Pilot database, could modify the demand to call the same amount on the same date, also replicate the same supply i.e create the similar jobs using same routing and required on the same dates, then run filtered MRP, and check the Time Phase again…
the next level of the investigation is check the different line which is in your case the demand on 21/02/19, open the Suggested job and check the scheduling between the operations as well as due date and compare.
Might also be worth checking the calendar on the last operations resource/resource group to make sure that there are no exceptions and also that the working hours are correct.
Failing that you can check the job in the job scheduling board. On the detail tab this will show the start and stop time of each operation - again I would focus on the last one.
