MRP on 803.404 Blank Title 69456

That is correct. You open the dashboard for there tracker in developer mode
export dashboard and BAQ's.. You would then import it back in and change the
BAQ names to your own. I will have to look at the files, but there is a link
to person that needs to be removed.

Steve,
Are you saying that you re-imported a copy of the interface into
customizations and then made the changes?
If so, might you be willing to share this customization so that I may begin
to use the workbench properly?
Thanks

We have come across some touch screen monitors that we can purchase
very cheap and we thought we would buy them to use for the shop floor
MES. Can anyone tell me if they use touch screen with MES in a factory
enviroment? If so, how do you enter text and numbers without using a
keyboard? Is there a way to do this or do we need to have an external
keyboard which defeats the purpose of the touch screen?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Jason.
We have touch screens in use with MES currently.

For repetitive keyboard entry you will want to bar-code things and use a
keyboard wedge scanner or some other type of scanner.

I have heard other users limit the entry to a numeric keypad only and they
have posted barcodes for all of their text entry codes.

You just need to look at the specific entry needed and what can be
bar-coded.

We have done this in the past using an on-screen keyboard add-in program; there are many out there, we used Chessware TouchIt. We left keyboards attached and in the end found most users stayed with the keyboard rather than use the on screen key board. Think this was probably because we used 15" elo screens that did not have enough area to keep the keyboard from overlaying the MES screen. Might have better luck with a larger screen size. Attached key board is working OK until we can get bar code running.

Thanks Steve.
I added a "Person" record.
I then selected this record from the "Planner Dropdown" for each product group.
I re-ran MRP and there is no difference.
Are you thinking that I have to have this listed for each part?
I just checked an Epicor manual that I have that specifies PLANNER as OPTIONAL.
I know this used to work for me, but as we all know, having something work can be taken for granted.

Yeah, there is no opportunity to do that if you want MRP to plan the jobs.
The planner, would then have to exist BEFORE.
