Hard to tell what you're doing wrong but I can tell you that it
does work.

Is anyone using MRP and generating purchase order suggestions for
sub-contract operations? I've tried everything I can think of but
Vantage refuses to generate any sub-con p/o suggestions.
Any ideas?

We do not use MRP, however, we use Generate suggestions to generate
subcontract PO's all the time. I'm not sure if your problem is MRP related,
if so, I probably can't help. But, for us, as long as the job is scheduled
and released, and there is a quantity in the subcontract operation on the
job, a po suggestion is generated after running 'Generate Suggestions'.
