We have a bakery customer using E10.2. Their demand (APS) is monthly and need to planning the production of the breads by weekly. This can be achieved by using the Lot Size in the Part master, example 1 week = 400kg.
In order to produce the bread, they need to make the dough. To produce the dough, this will require some purchased materials. The challenge is when some of the materials (in cases or cartons) are opened, it have to fully consume it otherwise it will not useable very fast.
In this case, standard MOM
FG - bread = 400kg
Mtl - dough = 400kg
FG - dough = 400kg
Mtl - material = 2.5 carton
Due to material in cartons must be utilized all, customer is expecting the MRP suggest this…
FG - dough = 480kg
Mtl - material = 3 carton
FG - bread = 480kg
Mtl - dough = 480kg
