Wanting MRP to suggest jobs from a Sales Order Line that would produce unconfirmed jobs with a required by date 2 weeks prior to the Sales Order Line Release ship/need date. How would one go about this?

If your jobs are make-to-stock, the easiest way would be to use the Receive Time field on the Part > Sites > Detail > Planning card.
If your jobs are make-to-order that won’t work.
My SO Line Release has a Need By & Ship By date of 4/26/2024, I need a 2 week buffer so put ( 14 ) in as the Receive time, Ran MRP and it still gives the job a required date of 4/26. Any suggestions?

Is the Make Direct checkbox selected on the Order Release? If so, this won’t work. If that is the case the EASIEST (meaning least work for anyone to do) method would be to use the Need By date field for the customer’s request date and then have a BPM to subtract two weeks from that to populate the Ship By date.
There are other ways to make that happen also, but that’s the easiest.

Do you need the Req by to be 2 weeks early or are you wanting the job to finish 2 weeks early?
The Req By is the system date of when its needed, this will match the Order Release Ship By date.
if you are just trying to get the job to start earlier, then you can do as Ernie suggested and use the Receive time. this will move the job start and finish dates to the left by that many days base on your production calendar.
the final op is 12 days before its needing to ship.
ahh it is moving the Due date on the job and not the Required by date, I am wanting the Required by date to be 14 days before the SO Need date…is that possible?
For a MTO job, you would have to change the Ship By date on the order release to change the ReqBy date on the job.
