MS Outlook personal files

Tim,
You could try this site. There is alot of information there. They also
have a users group through yahoo. You could sign up, check the FAQ, and post
the question there.

Subject: [Vantage] MS Outlook personal files

I am trying to recover a users .pst file from Outlook97.
He was moving email into it when it locked up. I believe
he went over the size limit (over 2 gb). It now says use
the Inbox Repair Tool to repair it but the repair tool
errors out in step 4 of the repair process and creates the
following log (last few lines). Does anyone know of any possible way to
work around this and recover the file? He's got over 1 year of email
records in here. (He should have split up his .pst files like
we told him and he should have backed this up to network like
we told him but, of course, did not).

!HN (nid=80AE) bad ibHnpm (ibHnpm=8670, cbPage=1496)

Fatal Error: 80040900
