MS SQL 2005 Performances on 8.03.305

First of all I'd say get your self onto 8.03.404 before giving up on
SQL 2005.

I've just made the jump from .305 to .404 and searches are way quicker
and overall performance is better :)

Hi all,

We got performances problems with SQL Server 2005 and begins thinking
to move to a Progress DataBase.

Does some of you got an SQL 2005 Database and good performances ?.
Our serveur got 4 processors and 16 Gg RAM, CPU runs at 20% max , so
it's not a server problem.

Do we need to create new SQL catalog for Full Text Search on other
tables ?.

If somebody got ideas...
