MSSQL 2005 - MFGWRK803 Filling Up Disk

We are using SQL 2005 and are on Vantage 803.405. I have noticed that our
MFGWRK803 folder gets a lot of files built up in there. Support says that I
can safely delete them, but it seems that most of them are still in use
until I reboot the server. We reboot once a week, only to get rid of these
stuck files, but by the end of the week we have over 4GB of junk files
slowing the system down. How are others handling this situation?

Thank you

Jeff

I've noticed MultiCompany has been stopping on my system randomly
lately. I thought it was backups, but I'm also seeing tempdb filling up
my C:\ drive and that kills some Vantage activities. I suspect I should
move it, perhaps even dedicate a disk to it, but I'm wondering if I can
constrain tempdb's size without breaking stuff.
