Multi Company with Custom SQL Reports

Build in/hard-code that static parameter into the report using the Select Expert. Filter on Company.CompanyID=”xxxxx” (Assuming you always want the same company’s data to be selected for that report).

Now if you are wanting the ODBC report to automagically ascertain from within which company it’s being launched and dynamically filter the results accordingly, then NO. You’ll have to prompt the user to choose “which company”.

Subject: [Vantage] Multi Company with Custom SQL Reports

Our company is soon changing from single to multi company in 905.700C. I've created numerous Crystal Reports looking straight at the SQL database. Can anyone think of a way to pull from an active company without prompting the user with a parameter? I was told by Epicor support that it will only pull the active company data even with ODBC only reports, but I'm very doubtful that will be the case since I'm not using report styles and data definitions. Thanks for any suggestions.

The Company is usually passed in as a report parameter. Now if you are
writing 100% ODBC report then you'll have to pass the params
