Thanks Steven,

Just tested this and it has done the job.

Is it possible to set up multiple smart strings for a Product Configurator?

I'm trying to set up Partnum from Partnum-quotenum-line and also the part description from a character field.
I don't think you can ( at least in ver. 6.10) but you can use 'set rules' to assign both Part Number and Description.

You can also do what we do. We use a Smart String Constructed from Inputs with No Separator and All Digits. We set the available inputs to a field call ConfPartNum which is read only on the form. We then use On Page Leave and On Input Leave rules to assign the part number to ConfPartNum.

There is also a editor field called Editor1 which gets assigned the description in the same manner as the part number. In the Rules section we have a "Set Field Part.PartDescription = Editor1". I could have done the same thing for the part number, but I initially started with using the smart string and just stuck with it.Â

I don't think you can ( at least in ver. 6.10) but you can use 'set rules' to assign both Part Number and Description.
