Network printing fails

Has anyone had similar issue? We are on cloud and want to print using network printer. We ordered cloud to enable network printing function. Now I am tenting it on my pc, so installed edge agent in network mode, added two types of printer one from print server one with direct cable connection. Added these printers in printer maintenance from edge agent. Test pages works from edge agent, from printer maintenance also from printer maintenance while using different pc. But when I try to print actual report I see in task monitor that task has been submitted to edge agent and about after 3-4min status in task monitor changes to error due to “Edge Agent did not respond in allotted time.” Still on support case, but with no improvement

We are having the same symptoms, where “network print” doesn’t work. We are on 2024.2.10 in the cloud and are trying to get edge agent in network mode to work. Question: does your end-user account for Kinetic have API V1 enabled? Today we got our first report to print, and that seemed to be after we had enabled API V1 for that end user account. The documentation does say that the special account used by Edge Agent needs to have “Allow Session Impersonation” so perhaps it impersonates the end user and is affected by the end user’s account settings?

Another thing to check is whether you are using “Require Single Sign-On” – we found logs on the computer that runs Edge Agent that show the end-user’s username and say both “You are not allowed to call version 1 of the APIs. Use version 2 instead.” and “You can only log on via single sign-on.” (We have both of those settings in effect for our end-users.)
