Our current E10 Server is getting replaced with 2 new VM’s.
1 VM will hold SQL and Service Connect.
The other VM will be the E10 App Server.
We are also going to start using the Mobile CRM App so we need to open up our server to the outside world for External access - VPN’s are a no go.
The IT team that look after the server want to place the E10 VM into a DMZ so that it’s off the Domain, and then allow comms between this server and the Internal network (clients and SQL VM).
I will be doing the SQL, SC and E10 Install.
I know that I could create a separate App Server to deal with the CRM but client doesn’t have the scope for it, or enough Windows Licenses.
I have never done a setup like this before.
Is there anything I need to look out for when setting up Epicor?
Any tips and advice would be appreciated.
