New Table not showing up in Crystal Report

Thanks, that worked. Should I even ask why it didn’t do this before when the only difference is both the xml and report are stored on the network?

Thanks again.

Mike

Take your XML and report. Copy to your local drive. Open the report in Crystal Developer. Hit F5 to preview; it should then ask you for the path to the data file (your XML). Do so. It should, at that time, notice the schema has been changed and it prompts you to update the report. If it does not prompt you, simply go to Database on the menu bar and select Verify Database.

Then your new table should appear assuming everything else is correct.

Subject: [Vantage] New Table not showing up in Crystal Report

I want to add a new table to an existing Crystal Report. I added the table to a duplicate of the current Report Data Definition. I changed the style to use the new RDD. I ran the report. When I look at the XML I see the new table. But when I open Crystal and create a new connection to the new report xml the new table does not appear. Any ideas?
