New transaction ID

Jose,
Yes, I want to populate Key 1 with an auto ID everytime I reload the form. I
think what you sent me is what I need. Didn't quite know if I had to use NewGuid
or Get NewGuid. Thanks a million.
Mike

What do you mean by record ID? Do you mean Key1??? you could assign
Guid.NewGuid() to it... Unless I am misunderstanding

All,
I am creating a new UD table and I want to assign a new ID number on form load.
I am writing this in VB script and don't quite know how to code it. I had to
import the form's assemblies in order to get it to recognize I was creating a
new UD. I am familiar with how to do this in Visual Basic, but the Vantage lingo
has me a little puzzled. Does anyone have any ideas on how to create a new
record ID on form load?
Thanks
