We just went to 2025.1.9 over the last week from 2024.2. Since then, our users have noticed the screens slowly shifting up into unusable space. We cannot get the underlying frame/div/span/whatever to scroll back down into the viewable area. The more the user interacts with the screen the worse it gets. Here is a screenshot of it getting pretty bad
In the spot where you see the arrow on the left, that is the Order Detail panel card on the sales order entry screen. If you notice on the right, the buttons are already unusable unless the user knows where the buttons are laid out on the menu.
Yes, this is a customized layer, and yes, this happens with Base Kinetic screens. I’ve already submitted a ticket, and the response from Support currently is it is working as expected. I’m hoping someone here has run into this and knows the solution.
I was able to figure out this happens when switching to and from full screen in the panel cards. The more I switch back from forth the worse it gets for us.
I’ve seen it while having the browser’s dev tools open - and it corrects itself when I close the dev tools pane.
Have you tried resizing the window? Forcing a size recalculation could clear this bug (temporarily, at least) - and perhaps give a clue toward a solution
I only discovered this because our users found it. They don’t use the developer tools. But I can confirm that turning the developer tools off or on or back again does not fix it for us. I have tried resizing and that doesn’t fix it. I have tried using the developer tools to change the viewport to a phone and then back again and that didn’t work either.
It has been listed as a cosmetic problem in the support system. Problem number PRB0300944. I haven’t heard anything else on it. It is still happening to us.
