Part master there is no min/max defined but PO suggestion generated 8 qty.

It’s possible that there was demand (an order or a job) when MRP or generate suggestions ran, then that demand got deleted. If you run suggestions again on that part, does the suggestion get deleted?

Is there anything under advanced planning card for min or safety stock in the PartPlantPlanningAttribute table? These settings would override your normal PartPlant settings.
Yes, this was the workaround proposed by Epicor last time. The suggestion was deleted, and when we generated the suggestion again, it was not created.
If there was demand (such as an order or a job), it should appear in the time phase inquiry; however, I don’t see them in this case.

It would, until it was deleted. Time phase looks at what’s there currently, but suggestions are created at a point in time, then they don’t get re-evaluated until it’s run again.
But, if nothing was deleted, it’s possible that your scheduled process for MRP or generate suggestions has some bad parameters. I’ve seen bad cutoff dates or other dates that aren’t set up to work dynamically cause these issues.
If you run suggestions manually, it removes and doesn’t recreate it. Does it show up again after your scheduled process? Or was this just a one time thing?

Thank you, last run MRP run was 11/19/2024. we are going to run the suggestion manually. Hopefully it removes the unnecessary records.
