No Entry Person listed in Inspection Processing

Recently started getting complaints that for some records in inspection processing are missing an “Entry Person” in the list. At first I thought maybe the employee listed on the nonconformance record may not have been linked to the UserID that needed to be displayed here but that doesn’t seem to be the case for the rows that are filled either.

Is there some method I’m missing where an operation can show up here in Inspection processing without an Entry Person being recorded?

What do the PartTran records show?

Oh thats interesting, PartTran is showing the ID for the generic production account for the ones that are missing from Inspection processing. The ones that do show up match what’s shown in PartTran. Makes me think the ones these are being created through MES.

Does the account that runs the MRP process have an inspector related to it?

No, I don’t believe so, but I’m not aware of any link between inspector and User accounts. I know you can link an employee record on user account security maintenance but where do you link an inspector?

Valid point. I think in the past we have had a BPM to default that to the logged in user. I may be wrong.
