Non-conformances

I believe they show under the "Operations" tab in Inspeciton processing on the Quality Assurance menu. If you double click on one there it will allow you to Pass and/or Fail specific quantities and enter comments. If failing parts it will then create a DMR for further scrutiny.

How do you close a non-conformance?

Thanks,

Our production employees have started entering their scrap quantities,
which create nonconformance entries. These nonconformances are showing up
in several ways. Some have no cost, some have labor cost and no material
cost and some have material cost, but no labor. All parts are set up the
same way in our part master. Can anyone tell me where these costs are
coming from and why it is so varied?

Debbie
How do you close a non-conformance?

Thanks,
Jasper
