So conversion 1320 - PCConv905
I am doing an initial migration and I did not do a backup prior to running the conversions after the migration.
This conversion is not marked as “Rerunable†and it failed due to errors:
“Insufficient memory to continue the execution of the program.â€
“Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown.â€
Even though the server has 32GB of RAM, the w3wp.exe was using 26GB of RAM at the time when it quit.
I can’t get the conversion to run again, even tried restarting everything, are there any options that anyone knows of other than restarting the migration?
The DB is 250GB+ which is why I would really prefer to not have to completely redo the migration, especially if there is no way to know that the machine won’t run out of RAM again.
Additionally, anyone know a good way to limit the RAM usage or something else to do in a situation like this to avoid this from happening? I don’t have the ability to switch around the available RAM in the server.
