I am attempting to make a DMT that send parts through the Nonconformance process however I am facing a strange issue.
When I attempt to pass a serial tracked part the following error appears:
“Existing serial number must be flagged as Voided to be valid for selection”
This makes no sense as the part has not been inspected or DMR’ed so why would it be voided I have marked the following fields “InspectionPending” as TRUE and “Closed” as false and yet the error persists.
This is the dmt that I am currently trying (with company specific data removed)

In addition, if a part has a space Infront of it for example " ABC123" if I add serial numbers the following error occurs:
“Part number is not serial tracked.” Even though it is.
And if I remove the serial numbers the error becomes “A valid part is required”
Any assitance would be greatly appreciated.
