(O.T) VPN XP & Exchange

Dan,
Your home PC has to be a member of the Domain (NT4 server?), and the
network. In short it has to have the same setting as a PC on the network in
the office.
You can contact me off the list if you need more help.
Also, if you are using a cable modem, please think about a home firewall.
My salesmen are using the Tiny firewall software and a Linksys router.

Subject: [Vantage] (O.T) VPN XP & Exchange

Last night I stumbled my way through setting up my first VPN connection I
was pretty clueless through out. I am running a 3Com office connect firewall
with VPN on the NT server and the 3Com XP VPN client Utility at home. After
I establish the VPN tunnel and try to map a drive on the server it prompts
me with a login prompt. When I use my NT user account info it is appending
the XP machine name in front of my NT login name and it does not map the
drive . When I use the NT administrator account I have no problem. I would
prefer not to give remote users the NT admin info, what am doing wrong here?
Also awhile back I saw an internet ad for a Microsoft utility that would
allow me to access my Exchange mailboxes remotely, can someone point me in
the right direction.

Thanks
