Not to sound like the E9 Fairy...

....but Epicor has created a system for identifying slow moving inventory.
You create a code that determines which transaction types to look at, time
buckets, what rates are considered "slow", etc. Then you pick that code when
you run the report. One can also create a report code for Excess inventory
and it will consider forecasts or sales orders. (I haven't tested it yet
though...)

Does anyone have a good baq/dashboard or a crystal report that they
want to share that selects parts that would be considered obsolete
inventory based on LAST transaction date <= xx/xx/xx?

TIA for suggestions

We designated a UD date field in the part table to be 'Last Used' date
and have a BPM to update that field from the IssueReturn BO

initial data was populated into the field from a query that listed the
last transaction date for STK-MTL out of PartTran after we 'upgraded'
to 8.03
