Obsolete &/or Slow Moving Inventory report

Hi Greg,

Sorry I can't help you with a 4.0 report, but I would love to see your 'pretty good' reports for version 3.0. I just spent countless hours on a Crystal version of a report to look at 'no transaction activity since ??/??/??'. Do you have such a thing?

Subject: [Vantage] Obsolete &/or Slow Moving Inventory report

Anyone got a report that shows something like parts in stock with no
allocations or parts in stock with no transaction activity since ??/??/??.
I have some that were pretty good for version 3.0 but the AllocQty field has
moved in version 4.0. Actually, it looks like it's contained in the
PartPlant table as well as the PartWhse table.

I ended up screwing up a perfectly good report by trying to link the
PartPlant table and creating a calculated field that adds the two AllocQty
fields together. I'm sure I did the join wrong or something. (It sure
would have been nice to have a document from Epicor that showed where all
the newly "obsolete" fields in 4.0 are to be found.)

That and all the other changes! Leaving every customer to go through every
screen looking for differences, to update procedural documentation and
identify training issues and problems is really lame.

Their documentation on the database changes was "read the .DF files in
Vantage\DB" Ha! Thanks a lot.

But seriously Greg, I think your inventory report has been discussed here
before, and IIRC there's such a thing on the EGroups files page.
