ODBC Password

Not that I know of. I think you can only do this at initial link.

Does anyone have a way of avoid the prompt for the ODBC password when
using ODBC in Access? I know you can use a file DSN and include the
password in the dsn which helps with Crystal Reports and with the
initial creation of a linked table in Access, but after that, when
you try to access the info in the table the password prompt reappears.

I'm working on a test implementation for 5.2 with ODBC SQL 92 and
Access 2002. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

When you choose what tables to link in Access there is a checkbox in the
lower left corner that says "Remember Password". Put a check there and that
will do the trick.

Do you know if there is a way to apply this setting to tables that
are already linked, or will I have to remove that link and recreate
it to save the password?

Thanks,

Brian
