Thanks for passing this along, Todd.
Now all I need to do is get us from 3.00.632 to 5.00.xxx! Should be able to
do that by, say, Monday? :-)

I received this note today from EPICOR regarding the ODBC security thread.

"We haven't any papers as of yet. The connection to the database is
controlled by the ODBC driver. In 5.00 we implement the SQL-92 driver and
it mandates a higher level of security, in fact you must login using
'sysprogress' as the username and blank password. You can change the
password in the database for that user using the 'Data Administration tool',
however from that point forward all connections via ODBC will need to supply
the appropriate password. This does prevent unauthorized users from
connecting via ODBC without the password however.
