I put in a ticket with Epicor this morning regarding this. Hopefully they know what is happening.

No idea at all. What version are you on? Anyone know if this is a bug fixed in 70 0?

If you try to delete the need by date that shows up it doesn't go away
right? It just fills back in? I have that issue..

Subject: [Vantage] Odd Problem - Order Line/Rel Need By Date

I have an odd problem where when entering a Sales Order Line with certain
part numbers the Line and Release Need By Date field is being populated
with the Order Date after saving the record and when the Need By Date is
blank at the Header level. If there is a value in the Need By Date at the
Header it picks up that date but if it is blank at the Header the Order
Date is being populated. This is only happening to certain part numbers. I
have check customizations and BPMs and have found nothing that would be
causing this.

Any help appreciated.
