Subject: [Vantage] Off-Topic - AccessFix
Sorry for the offtopic post but with us being a generally tech oriented
bunch I was hoping I might be able to find some help here.
I have a customer with a corrupted access db, which is their only system
of Job costing.
The company they had working for them didnt have them doing regular
backup or compacting the DB on a regular basis.
I have retrieved the DB needed for them from their Failed HD but it
looks as if many of the records have lost their IDS in the index.
I used a trial version of AccessFix to see that it is possible, that I
can see the records that need recovered.
I cannot afford to buy the software, as I may never use it again, but I
would like to help this small hometown manufacturing company.
Does anyone have this software and would be willing to run a small 90 mb
database through it for me?
