Off Topic - Contact Management Software

At the present time there is an integration between eFrontOffice and
Outlook, however the integration is limited to calendar items.
Scheduling a follow-up in eFrontOffice creates an entry in your
Outlook calendar. In order to get contact items into Outlook you must
export them from eFrontOffice and import them into Outlook. You can
at that point sync with the palm pilot. We were told when we
purchased eFrontOffice that in the future there may be the ability to
sync directly from eFrontOffice to the palm pilot.

Does anyone have any words of wisdom regarding network based sales contact
management software ?

I'm looking for some software that I can install on our server so that
everyone is sharing the same DB. ( 10-15 inside salespeople plus 8-10
outside salespeople using portable PC's )

We currently run Maximizer on 2 of the machines as a stand alone product and
it works well but last I knew it was only available as a stand alone
product.

Thanks,

Todd Anderson
We also use Maximizer and am using it on the network. I installed the db files on the server in a shared directory and five people are running the program. Of course they are all licensed. I would rather have a program that is integral with
Vant...er...eMfg, because Sales uses the Max to create quotes, but the quote data isn't compatible with order entry.

How 'bout it Epicor?....

ACT 2000 by Symantec is used here. Its seems stable, though I have heard
there can be wrinkles when setting up network use

I'm told Clientele is relatively bug free compared to the main Vantage
product.

Do you agree ?

Our management asked me a question about eFrontOffice that you might be
able to answer. Currently users of Outlook can sync ther PCs with their
Palm Pilots. Is this capability available with eFrontOffice?
