C:\DOS RUN
C:\RUN DOS RUN

Or for the UNIX people among us:

$> more beer

would allow me to exclude 2 folders, when I could just edit the file to tell
it to copy only the other 10 folders that I want copy. I don't know why I

Sarah,

I use Backup Exec and ARCServe IT to run my back ups. I just simply select
folders or individual files I would like to include in a back up. If I
would have to create a batch file I would exclude a folder by including only
the items I want. So, instead of copy D:\*.* I would enter:
copy d:\folder1
copy d:\folder2
copy d:\folder3

Does anybody know how to edit a batch file (for tape backups) to NOT include
certain folders example, we do not want it to backup the
"d:\completed_projects" folder.
