I would like to find out what you guys are using to monitor email usage.
More specifically if we have users that are suspected of sending email all
day and not doing their work, which is the best package which will allow us
to see how many emails, to whom, etc. I am not concerned with the content.
Thank You.

I have been using free Seagate Analysis for a little while now and they have
a "stock" set of BackOffice reports which includes hooks to Exchange and
Lotus. Included are "top email senders" and "top receivers" as well as
storage usage. There are also some Crystal example reports around to use
Exchange tracking logs. So far I have not had to buy anything to get basic
levels of usage info. If I tried modifying the sotkc reports I could
probably get totals for "sender" on received message and "Send to" on sent
messages and track who the top users are communicating with (business or
not).
I got the Seagate Analysis on a free CD about a year ago but I think it
might still be available via download at their site. Try
