Are you talking about \exchsrvr\imcdata\log\L000000x.log files?
In version 5.5 these are controled by the SMTP Protocol Log in the Internet
Mail Services Diagnostics Logging. These log files only grow and can get
very large very quickly if the logging level is set to maximum for the SMTP
Protocol Log. The good news is these files can be deleted after stopping the
Internet Mail Service. (You do have a backup, right?) Also any changes to
the logging levels only take effect after stopping and restarting the
Internet Mail Service. Setting the logging level to none and no log files
are created.

Hope this helps, good luck.

Ok, very off topic on this one ...

Does anyone know what controls the size of the main log file for Exchange.
Mine is sitting at 1.26 gig currently ...

Thanks,

Todd Anderson
