Off topic Internet Browser?

You should be able to have both on your PC with
little or no problem. It's just software, like having
Lotus and Excel on the same PC. When going between
the two, you may get a message saying "XXX is not set as
your default browser, would you like to set as default" where
XXX is Netscape, or IE. Hope this helps.

We are doing this without any problems. One of our product/marketing
managers uses Netscape all the time but will switch to IE if he notices a
problem. The Proxy Server is running on our SBS 4.5 system although I
believe I have this guy bypassing it and going directly to the router.
Netscape does not "invade" the Windows Client as much as IE does (an
integral part of the OS so they say) but should still process IP traffic as
well as any program monitoring IP ports (such as 80). I don't see any way it
has affected the network as a whole or any affect on the server side of
things. We have had a couple cases of B2B procurement auction type services
requiring java scripting that IE won't handle so we use Netscape for them.
Arrrgh!! Why can't they all just get along?
