[Off-Topic] MS Access error question - updating 4.0 to 5.0

If you check the tables used in the query, go to the last record and see if
all records from vantage were linked successfully. You might need to create
a macro or code to refresh links at start up before running your queries.

Subject: [Vantage] [Off-Topic] MS Access error question - updating 4.0 to
5.0

I am working on updating my linked access reports for 5.0. Everything seems
to be going smoothly, until I go to run the queries, and I get the Access
error "Scaling of decimal value resulted in data truncation" and then the
query will not run.

This is the same exact query I had with the 4.0 database and it worked fine.
When I go to Access help, it says "Error 3759: This error occurs when the
data being updated or inserted into a DECIMAL data type does not match the
defined scale and precision of the column."

Nothing has changed in the query since 4.0, I am very confused as to what is
causing this and how to fix it. If anybody has seen this error before and
can provide any help, I would be very grateful!

Thanks,

Sarah
