# Off Topic: No Logon Servers

<div id="ygrps-yiv-246027982">We are in the process of adding a sql server to our network. It runs <br/>
on NT 4.0. When I try to map a drive to the server or access it <br/>
through the network neighborhood I get an error reading: There are <br/>
currently no logon servers available to service the logon request. <br/>
Has anyone ever encountered this? I compared the setup on one of our <br/>
existing servers to the one that is giving us the problem and <br/>
couldn&#39;t find any differences. I can map to the new server from the <br/>
existing server. The problems come from other workstations.</div>
