Patrick,

I believe I read a brief article about this company a couple of years ago in
MSI. Essentially, it's a roll-up acquisition of a number of products
re-engineered into a single integrated solution with a definite accounting
slant. There are other modules (ERP, CRM, Non-Profit, etc..) but they are
thin compared to the accounting piece. As for technology, it pure last
generation MS client server including the usual players VB/SQL
Server/Office. While that is good because it means it is probably mature
and stable it also means that you're likely, at least half way, if not more,
through the technology lifecycle. The good news is that they provide the
source code at no additional cost so you should be able to survive any
vendor turmoil without issue.
