[Off Topic] USB Hard Drives

Dina,

Please be sure to download the PeerSync evaluation software and test
with it before you spend your money. We ran an eval of it last month
and found it unsuitable for the following reasons:

The Open File module caused persistent blue screens at start up on our
test workstations.

The Open File module would not backup Outlook PST files.

If there were open file errors, realtime synchronization would cease
with no error or warning messages.

I have been looking at Opalis Robot (www.opalis.com), but have not
installed and tested it yet.

have fun,
john

Subject: [Vantage] [Off Topic] USB Hard Drives
Hello Everyone,

Has anyone had any experience or seen any reviews (good or bad) on USB
Hard Drives. This is what I was thinking about doing.

Setting up a 200 GB USB hard drive on a computer then purchase peer sync
software that will sync up with my server. I want to purchase two of
the hard drives then every week switch. It is cheaper for me to buy 2
of these hard drives than it is for me to buy a 10 pak of my backup
tapes.

Best Regards,
