Hi Todd,

If you're adding a new machine with W2K3 then you don't HAVE to migrate away
from SBS. You can just add the 2K3 machine to the domain as a standalone
machine. The new machine cannot backup your SBS Active Directory however but
you'll get better Vantage performance by splitting the duties between the two
machines. We run SBS for our file and mail server, a separate terminal server
that's also going to be the Epicor Portal, and a third server for Vantage.

Any reason you didn't pick W2K3 Enterprise to be able to get more than 4GB
memory?

Best,

Mark W.
Any information on the migration path from Windows-SBS-2003 to
Windows-2003-R2-Standard?

Is this an add to domain, install active directory on new server and then a
DCPROMO move?

Anyone know where MS keeps the documentation on this?

Thanks,

Todd
