[Off Topic] Wire Marking (labels)

Dina:

We use the Brady unit. It prints a "sleeve" that you peel off the flat
backing release "paper", slide over the wire, and heat shrink it snug.

They also have a more standard "sticker" available.

Durability is years and years. In fact I put a label on my wallet and it
didn't rub off the letters after 2-3 years.

I would highly recommend it for durability.

Subject: [Vantage] [Off Topic] Wire Marking (labels)

Hello Everyone.

I was wondering how everyone else labels their wires. We are currently
using a Thomas & Betts Ez Label Coder. But we are finding out that after
6
months the ink is wearing off the wires and the customer can no longer
read.
It is also very inefficient. The assembler has to print a label at a time
and it is very time consuming. I was wondering how everyone else does
this
or if you have any suggestions.

Thanks.
