Sounds like you're reinventing the wheel.
Just set up a hotkey combo to launch the material status check sub process from Job Entry - so your people don't get carpal tunnel syndrome having to mouse click navigate to it :(Â
It displays total plant o/h and allocations (as well as the job's individual requirement qty's per component material).
From any component part listed there you can right click into Time Phase (or Part Tracker or Purchasing Advisor)Â for anything requiring further research (because allocations exceed on-hand - but may not be a problem as a result of the various allocation requirement dates and any scheduled re-supply dates).
I don't recall if Job Tracker has native access to material status check, but you could probably add a button control and launch it as a sub-process with the appropriate vb code.
If you personalize (or better yet - customize - so all users see the same thing) the column layout of material status check, it is a decent, simple solution.
Then you don't have to get into messy coding stuff like trying to add non-native table fields to an existing list view of a native app view.

Subject: [Vantage] On-Hand Qty in the JobMtl List view in Job Tracker/Job Entry
Â
I'm looking to add an On-Hand Qty from PartWhse.onhandqy into the List view screen under the Job Details/Materials/ List within the Job Tracker / Job Entry.
I was able to create a FKV to add to the detail tab. but I need to add to the List View.
Has any one customized this or has idea of how to do it, please share.
Thank you.
