I'm trying to simplify our labor collection process by bar coding
several commonly used indirect labor codes. Specifically, I'm trying
to bar code the entry for Indirect Code "20" on the WorkCenter ID
"T/LSR".

Based on what I've learned from the forum, this formula should work.

"*" & Trim ({Indirect.IndirectCode}) & "$I" & Trim
({WrkCenter.WCCode}) & "*"

The forumla works appears to work without error. I have setup my bar
code gun to read FULL ASCII.

When the gun scans the code, it converts the /L in the "T/LSR" to a
comma. The output reads "20 T,SR" (the space represents the tab
movement).

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Kelly,

You will have to use the replace function to replace occurrences of / with
/O (the full asci for /).
If you need more specific instruction, feel free to ask.

Thanks!

Kelly
